Transport Manager is accessible via web portals or the Universal Worklist and can be logged into from any SAP system in the landscape. The Transport Manager workflow is integrated with the standard transport release process. The workflow then routes transport requests through the approval, validation and migration phases. Automated e-mail notifications alert responsible personnel of required actions and upcoming due dates helping to speed requests through the system. The system sends approved changes periodically, e.g. every 15 minutes, based on a configurable migration strategy.
